Glamping

Riverside glamping on the Nam Khan River

Canvas tents on the riverbank, teak decks over the water, and the sound of the Khan through the night. Close to the landscape, not just looking at it.

Glamping at The Namkhan is the adventurous side of the property. You wake on the river, walk the organic farm before breakfast, and fall asleep to moving water. Every tent still includes daily breakfast at ROOTS, access to both pools and the Jungle Spa, and the hourly shuttle to the old town. The comfort of the resort, set right in the riverside environment.

    Questions about our Glamping

What is glamping at The Namkhan like?

Permanent canvas tents with proper beds, en-suite bathrooms, and electricity, set on the riverbank. The comfort of a hotel room with the immersion of sleeping by the water. No roughing it, no shared facilities.

What is the difference between Riverfront Glamping and Explorer Glamping?

Riverfront Glamping (70m²) sits directly above the river on a private teak terrace with panoramic water views. Explorer Glamping (55m²) sits a little further back on a private deck, surrounded by the gardens. Both are canvas tents with full en-suite bathrooms.

What is included with a glamping stay?

Daily breakfast at ROOTS Restaurant, access to both outdoor pools and the Jungle Spa, and the complimentary hourly shuttle to the UNESCO old town. The same inclusions as every room at The Namkhan.

Is glamping suitable in the rainy season?

The tents are built for the climate, with solid roofing and raised decks. The riverside setting is at its most dramatic in the green season. Guest Services can advise on the best tents for any time of year.

    Who is glamping best for?

Travellers who want to be in the landscape: couples after something different, nature-led guests, and anyone who would rather wake to the river than to four walls. For a more spacious or family stay, see our suites and villas.
