Set on a wooden deck among the tropical gardens, The Namkhan Glamping is our 30 square metre canvas tent option for guests who want the glamping experience without the riverfront premium. The tent sits a short walk inside the property from the riverbank, with a private terrace, an en-suite bathroom inside the tent, and outdoor seating that opens onto the gardens.
Inside, the tent is furnished with one large double bed or two single beds. A desk, air conditioning, a minibar, a safe, and a wardrobe are all included. The en-suite bathroom has a hot water rain shower. Bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer, organic herbal tea and coffee, and eco-friendly amenities are all part of the room.
Sleeps up to three with an extra bed. Suitable for couples or small families.

What is the difference between The Namkhan Glamping and Explorer Glamping?
The Namkhan Glamping is 30m², set in the tropical gardens with garden and river views. Explorer Glamping is 55m² on an elevated wooden deck closer to the river. Both have private terraces. The Namkhan Glamping has the bathroom inside the tent. Explorer Glamping has the bathroom in a separate structure outside the tent.
What is the difference between The Namkhan Glamping and Riverfront Glamping?
The Namkhan Glamping sits in the gardens with garden and Khan River views. Riverfront Glamping is 64m² with a riverfront position, panoramic river views, and direct beach access. Riverfront is the premium glamping option.
How many guests can the tent sleep?
Up to 3 guests by adding an extra bed on request. Suitable for couples or a couple travelling with on child.
Is the bathroom inside the tent?
Yes. The en-suite bathroom is inside the tent, with a hot water rain shower. This differs from Explorer Glamping, where the bathroom is in a separate structure outside the tent.
What is included with the room?
Daily breakfast at ROOTS Restaurant, access to both outdoor pools and the Jungle Spa, complimentary shuttle to Luang Prabang, and access to the daily activity programme. Yoga, Qi Gong, sauna, ice bath, spa treatments, and most activities are paid extras.
Is The Namkhan Glamping suitable for families?
Yes, suitable for a couple with one child. Two singles or a double bed and one extra bed brings the capacity to three. For larger families, the Art Deluxe Family Room or one of the two-bedroom villas is a better fit.
