At the edge of the river
No other room type at The Namkhan puts you this close to the river. The tent sits at the very edge of the riverbank, elevated on a private wooden terrace surrounded by tropical gardens. The terrace opens directly to the water, you hear the river from bed, watch the sunrise from the outdoor seating area, and walk down to the private beach without leaving the property.
In the late afternoon, the light on the river turns gold. Water buffalo pass on the far bank. By night, the only sounds are the current, insects, and silence.

At 70 m², the Riverfront Glamping is larger than most standard hotel rooms. The canvas structure has floor-to-ceiling openings that frame the river from inside, and the 5m-diameter circular interior gives the space an open, airy feel.
Inside: sleeps up to 4 with extra bed, a wooden desk, ceiling and floor fans, air conditioning, a safety deposit box, and organic herbal tea and coffee. The design is simple and intentional, natural materials, good light, nothing unnecessary.

Is the Riverfront Glamping air conditioned?
Yes. The tent has full air conditioning as well as ceiling and floor fans. The canvas walls allow for natural ventilation if you prefer to sleep with air conditioning off.
Is the Riverfront Glamping suitable for families with children?
The tent comfortably accommodates a couple plus one additional guest. For families requiring two separate bedrooms, the Art Deluxe Family Room or the villa options are more practical.
How does glamping at The Namkhan compare to a standard hotel room?
The glamping tents have the same service level and amenities as the rooms, air conditioning, private bathroom, daily breakfast, pool access, but the canvas structure and direct river positioning create a more immersive experience.

What is the best time of year to book the Riverfront Glamping?
The dry season (November to April) offers the most comfortable conditions, clear skies, mild temperatures, and the river at its most photogenic. During the wet season (May to October), the river is fuller and greener, with occasional rain that creates a dramatic atmosphere from the covered terrace. The tent operates year-round.
